Frequently asked questions

What is included in the furnished accommodation?

Units that are indicated as furnished include all furniture you'll require during your stay. We furnish these units like an Airbnb, but we do not supply towels.

How do I make a reservation?

Apply online, or message us on WhatsApp. If nothing suits right now, we'll add you to the waiting list and let you know as soon as an appropriate unit is available.

Is there a minimum or maximum rental period?

Our standard rental periods are 6 months. We do offer rentals for shorter periods; depending on the circumstances there may be a surcharge for rentals of this nature. Reach out with your needs and let's see how we can help.

What utilities are included in the rent, and what extra costs should we budget for?

Rental includes WiFi and water. Electricity is prepaid and left to the tenants themselves to purchase as needed. If you need parking, an airport shuttle or specialised services, these will incur extra charges.

What is the check-in and check-out process?

Someone will meet you at your flat on arrival to provide the keys and do a walkthrough of the flat. We also provide transport from the airport, and so we tailor this to your needs.

Are pets allowed in the accommodation?

No, unfortunately our options are not suited for pets.

Are you NSFAS accredited? (For South African government bursaries)

No, unfortunately our options are not suited for NSFAS accreditation.

Can I modify or cancel my booking?

We try our best to accommodate modifications. Modifications and extensions are allowed, provided we can find a replacement for you or the unit is available to allow an extension.

What happens if there is damage to the accommodation during my stay?

Any damage found at the outgoing inspection is repaired, and the cost is deducted from your deposit.

Is parking available on the property?

Yes, limited parking is available on site at an extra charge, subject to availability.

Can I rent just one room?

Yes. Tell us you would like a room and share a little about yourself. We match you with a suitable flatmate and each of you signs your own room lease.
